Yes, it is me, Beth (aka Beth Corner, aka Fido-Corno) from Diamond Toy many years ago. I've kept in touch with Jim Engel from the old days, but that's about it. I have no idea where Sid might be. It would be a gas to say hi to him.
I thought about you recently after seeing Lynda Barry on the cover of the Sunday newspaper here in WI. Nice article on her. It brought back memories of getting to know you and your fan boys in Chi-town. So I looked you up on Facebook, and viola! Here you are!
I was very impressed with the Wiki on you. Such a celeb you are. BTW, was that Craig Yoe and Grass Green on that cover art last year, analyzing you on the couch? Sure looked like them - when they were younger anyway.
Hey Jay, I'm a fan from when I was in fourth or fifth grade sneaking peeks of Bijou Funnies. As a native of Chicago, I read Phoebe and the Pigeon People in the Reader, until the old lady decided to retire.
So, when I offer the advice you didn't ask for and maybe don't want, it's coming from a good place.
The fact you have 25 members rather than hundreds or even thousands smacks of misguided social networking advice.
You don't need a social network to get your message out. What you need to do is join a social network, where your fans already are, and post the news there. Facebook, for example, probably not MySpace. Let geezers like me spread your name around my pages and the young hipsters I've friended will be exposed to you. This site is kind of an island that folks need to stumble upon (as I did).
Anyhow, I won't be offended if you tell me to stick this unsolicited note up my ass.
Does anyone know how to reach Michel Choquette of the Times Square Two?
Michel...If by some weird quirk of fate you do a google search for the Times Square Two , and this page comes up...Please go to my website http://www.mindspring.com/~jaylynch/ and email me at the link there. I want to discuss something with you.

Hope all is well with you. Keep in touch. -Beth

Yers,

I owe you my left brain. I feel like its time for me to order a goatsie.
Do you still keep in touch with Gary Whitney? Does he still do any comics work?
Thanks,
Richard
